I got a video file of a movie, with its normal english track...but on that same track is a german voiceover

How do i take the german voiceover out of the english track? Is it even possible? or do i have to find a new video, since this one is impossible to fix?

It's not like it has 2 audio tracks, its one track, with the original english audio then like recorded over it is a german voice..

Unless the Eng/Ger commentary are specific to the right or left channel, I fear it's a lost cause.

do you mean like 2 audio tracks..
they are both on 1 audio track..

But if you mean 1 audio track.. left and right channels...
How do I seperate 1 of the channels from the video file?

I mean one stereo track (left and right).
If that was the case you would hear Eng from one channel and Ger from the other - some Asian videos have this.
If both languages are coming out of both left and right, then they cannot be separated.

Yes you could unplug a speaker - but you should be able to hear it anyway.

To demux the audio:
Load/drag the video into AviDemux.
On the left side window , under 'Audio', select WAV PCM from the drop down menu
On the top menu click 'Audio' > 'Save'.
Give the file a name (including the extension) e.g. sample.wav

Run Audacity and drag the wav file in.
If required, split the track into left and right channels.
You can select either channel for playback by clicking anywhere on the left side of the screen.

Which means they can't be separated.
