well this will be the fourh forum that i will be asking this question on so hopefully i can finally get some help
and i see that there is alot of post of people asking for help
but my problem dosent seem to be like the others
which is why im posting this topic
ive asked this question on other forums
and no one seems to be able to help me or know whats wrong
please can someone help!!!!

i bought a AR for my ds last year and it worked find i used it all the time
i recently just bought pokemon platinum and went straight out looking for codes to use
i found all the codes put them on the AR code manager plugged in my ds
and it wont update
the ds says connect via usb cable
and my laptop says waiting for ds
even though the ds is connected

ive tried some solutions ive seen people telling people with this same problem to try
reinstalling the code manager
reseting the ar by pushing a b start and select
updating the code manager

and nothing worked

then i seen on codejunkies.com that you should goto my computer right click and goto device manager and you should see usbio
well i dont see usbio
its not there so i cant even move on to the following steps

please i need help badly whats wrong and what can i do to fix this
