PROBLEMS PLAYING BURNED DVD MOVIES ON MY DVD PLAYER

I am having an issue playing burned DVD's on my stand alone DVD player. I use:
- Slysoft AnyDVD
- DVD Shrink
- Nero 9
- media type: Verbatim +R
- DVD burners: optiarc from Dell and Plextor PX 806SA (both are SATA drives)

These are the same methods I have been using except I got newer version of Nero and I am using Vista.

I've been always 100% successful in burning my movies w/ my older computer. Ever since I got this new one from Dell w/ Windows Vista, I just can't play it on my DVD player; it plays on my computer though. I even burned it as slow as 4x. I use to burn in 8x w/ my old computer.

Do you also know anything on DMA or PIO mode?

Without a burn log, there's not much we can do.
You might want to use the best burning software in the world and it's free.
It's called ImgBurn.

Thank you Dialysis1. I have resolved my issue. It was Nero 9 that was giving me the problems. You know how DVD Shrink uses Nero to burn well I can't do that anymore; don't know the reason. I had to add an extra step to my process now. I have to use DVD Decrypter now to burn after I create an ISO image from DVD Shrink. Supposedly it is better to DVD Decrypter than Nero to burn DVDs. This is the concensus I received from reading multiple threads from many forums online today. I trully appreciate your response.

Do yourself a real favor and use ImgBurn. The author of DVD Decrypter created ImgBurn for a very good reason.
