If this is not the correct place for this question, please redirect me to the correct forum, Thanks.

Hello, I just finished setting up a second partition on my laptop (Sony Vaio CR220e) with XP instead of Vista (now it's a dual-boot). Sony released drivers on their support website for running XP. I installed all of the drivers (Chipset, Motherboard, and "Notebook Control" among them).

However, I still cannot put my computer on standby/hibernate while running XP. Standby/Hibernate are not available in the Power Options section of the Control Panel. This seems like a driver issue to me, but I know the Sony drivers I installed are working to at least a certain degree because new battery power schemes are available (?VAIO Optimized?, ect.)

If anyone has some ideas or something I can try, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help.
