difference between d2v and d2v ??

Anyone knows what the different is between the d2v-file you can get smartripper to create when you rip a DVD and the d2v-file you create with DVD2AVI ??, I'd like to use avisynth to frameserve CCE instead of VFApi, to speed up things a bit..... but I couldn't get CCE to load my avs-script (in which I had put the path to the d2v created by smartripper) it just crashed when I tried to load it...
I looked over de mpeg2dec-installation and the avisynth-installation about hundred times, and couldn't find anything wrong.... then I tried to create a d2v-file with DVD2AVI, and put the path to that one in the avs-script instead, and loaded it without any problems in to CCE, the problem is that, if I have to make an d2v-file in DVD2AVI, then I loose the time in that part that I earned in using avisynth instead of VFApi... anyone has an idea of how I can use the "smartripper-d2v" with avisynth and mpeg2dec.dll ???

The one that SmartRipper produces has problems, issues and is not recommended -- the last version of SmartRipper (2.41) that was released, introduced this .d2v creation, but it was somewhat flawed and now it seems that the program is not developed anymore, since it's over a year since last version was released.
