the box super usb recording problem

trying to record but when i press red record button i get a message saying usb full . i have a 2 gb and a 16 gb and both are doing the same thing. i formatted both and neither works any ideas? (the 16 gb is brand new).

when box is formatting flash drive it has wiped both drives down to 1.68 mb FAT cant reformat drives.
