can anyone help i have avast anti virus its good but the last couple of days as i turn on my pc i get the words "attention virus been found" i put it in the virus chest and try to find where it is but i cannot see it, my security is set high, but it must be on my pc from something i downloaded?? is there a virus software program that will do a better job, if anybody nows of one please answer this, thankyou, chris

moved to correct forum as not an all other topics issue. do a system restore to before you got this problem. check in msconfig for stuff that is not to be there such as "ms antivirus 2009".
