R4 SDHC No Theme Showing at all!

Hey there,
I just got a 8gb R4 SDHC and it works great except when I first load in on the screen thats supposed to have the "Game - Media - Load Slot 2" buttons nothing shows up... the whole screen is blue except for a red box that would surround the game pic and the words "load game". I can move the red outline and select the "media" or "load slot 2" buttons though all it is is a blue screen from top to bottom. When I go into games i can see all my games but it just has blue background.

Just to clarify that all the themes dont show at all, the pre-loaded default ones and when I try and load new ones it doesnt change it.
