I am looking for a DuoX2 GS modchip. I see a lot of sites claim to offer them, but when you click "buy" all it does is redirect you to divineo.com which sells them but then wants to charge you $20 in shipping.

Are their any places that sell the DuoX2 GS chip for the advertised $9.99 or so price that doesn't charge 200% of the price in shipping?

bit late really.. most retailers have closed down the xbox chip operation that's why the redirect. also I guess manufacture has halted.. no point making a chip which is more expensive than the console it goes in.

i cant get a hold of any of those exploitable games or memory card.

does doing the TSOP thing require any extra physical items besides a computer and ethernet/crossover cable?

yeah.. soldering skills and the right flashing application... it's not as easy or safe as people make it out to be. I have only ever flashed a 1.3 so I don't even know if a 1.4 can be done.

I can easily get something that allows me to connect my USB flash drive to an xbox controller port. Do I still need one of those exploitable games? i can only find platinum hits versions and I dont want to buy an action replay thing.
So do all I need is to download the right software and have the ability to connect my USB flash drive to the controller port?

I saw a thing were you can hotswap one of the xbox's drives... but i dont know.

whats the difference between TSOP mod and softmod? a lot of the TSOP tutorials require you to also softmod.
