I am looking for a device that will connect to my PC and will send out IR signals to my audio visual components.

Hauppauge makes a device called the "IR Blaster"...each one only controls one device.

Depending on your mainboard, you may be able to connect an IR transmitter directly to it. These are pricy and hard to find, here is a link to how to make one: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/86
