Acekard 2 Problems with DS Lite -- Cannot See Games!

I have purchased an Acekard 2 for my daughter's DS Lite. I have downloaded and unzipped the akmenu4.nds and placed it on the root of my sd card. In addtion to this, the _ak.menu folder is on the root along with a games folder and release_note. I have about seven .nds games in the game folder. When I turn on the DS and go to the Acekard, it does not show any of the games. The top screen shows a calendar and clock. The bottom screen does not show any games -- just a darkended line with the start at the bottom. Above the darkened line, I see a yellow arrow and the "SD" card picture but no games. What am I doing wrong? Thanks a bunch!

try putting the .nds files on the root directory. ie not in a folder.

Thanks for your input -- I moved the games from the folder and put them directly ohto the root. Same thing happens. The top screen has calendar and time. The bottom has yellow up arrow and "sd" card and lightbulb. Right below is a dark gray line then at the very bottom, it says 2207 acekard.com and the far right bottom corner "start". For what it is worth, the light on the unit is red rather than the normal green. I changed and put a normal DS game into the slot and the light went green.

Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

below the green up arrow SD:/ you should see a folder moonshell, if you have that installed, then a list of games icon and names beside it. well thats what mine is showing.

heres whats on my micro sd card

__ak2 (folder)
moonshell (folder)
akmenu4.nds
game1.nds
game2.nds
etc

if you have similar to mine as above and still doesnt work, then i guess the card must be faulty.
