I have a computer that keeps restarting. It is powered by windows xp. Everytime I turn it on it leads me to this:

Start windows normally
Safe Mode
and last known startup or some stuff like that.

Well I tried all the options available even the recommended startup. And every single startup it always restarts my computer.

Is there a way to fix this?

you can try doing a chkdsk c: /f on it. If there are any corrupted system files it will give you that problem.

you need a windows xp installtion cd. from there use the DOS screen and you will type it in.

If you can make a bartpe (easy to make, you just need your windows installtion cd to make it), it will bootup your computer and will let you use the command line.

Worst case scenario, you can remove the drive and slave it onto a working computer and run a scandisk (with the boxes to fix errors checked).

In your situation that's what I would check first. Anytime the computer reboots before starting up, it's a sign that windows cannot find the next startup files to finish the boot cycle. This is usually cause by
1. corrupt system files (cause by improper shutdowns)
2. boot.ini file incorrect
3. drive letter mismatch
4. missing system files

If the chkdsk doesn't fix it, download the free "paragon rescue kit 9.0" bootcd, that has the tools to check your boot.ini/drive letters. But for it to be a drive letter/boot.ini problem you would have had to perform imaging/partitioning type of tasks on your computer before it stopped working. But it's a good idea not to rule anything out.
