Hi,
I have converted an MP3 file to mp3 ringtone. I intend to install that file to my cell-phone, however first I want to check how this mp3 ringtone file sounds. Unfortunately, non of the players I have on my PC is able to play it.
Is there somebody to help me to solve that problem.
Thanks in advance

What was the program you used for converting files? They should be playable with normal music players, such as Windows Media Player..
This is good program for testing it:

And if you still get some kind error, you have converted file incorrectly.

Hi somebodyy and thanks,
I used MP3 to Ringtone Gold, however now I see that I have made a mystake: After draging the MP3 into the program and before converting it, I was supposed to highlight the MP3 and I didn't do so.
So, now I did it, and, indeed, I am able to play the resulting ringtone with any player. However, I have encountered another problem: The resulting Ringtone is too short, i.e. it consist's only of the begining of the song (only a section of the first accord).
Now, I can imaging that the size of the resulting ringtone MP3 file(63.6 KB) cannot consist a whole song; however, the ringtones I got with my CellPhone play much longer. Hence, I suppose there must be a way to create such longer-playing ringtones.
Would you know how to do it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi somebodyy and thanks,
I was absent, that's why I am responding just now.
Would you know what output format do I have to select In Easy CD -Da Extractor > Audio Converter,if my intention is to use the ringtone in my - not-too-sophisticated - cellular phone (Samsung SGH-N310)?
Thanks in advance

I didnt found any specs about your phone, but I think mp3 works. If not, then you might try following WAV or 3gp formats.

Hi somebodyy and thanks,
Sorry for my ignorance: I thought there is (or are) some difference(s) between MP3 format and rington format.
Does this mean that I don't need to convert them at all (namely, that every MP3 file is, automatically, a ringtone)?

Yes, if your phone support those file formats.
