Just a quickie guys and gals.

I got my first R4 from a local computer fair and had one or two problems getting it up and running (Thanks to Pugg it's all good now).

My two children both loved the music and movies so asked for one each. Not wanting to take the computer fair route I checked high and low for the best online shop to get one from. Not an easy task as most get good and bad reviews.

I settled on http://www.nds-gear.com in the end as they showed what was in (and out of) stock. I ordered on Monday and they arrived by special delivery today (Wednesday).

So if you are looking for a card and are in the UK I can recommend http://www.nds-gear.com 100%

My only gripe was not getting an Email confirmation of the order. But my Email was answered the same day when I checked.

One final note is that I've popped an SD card in each and all is great. They say on the website that they test each card before posting. Can't get better than that.

Glad to hear you got them working! These days it's hard to find a place to get a legit Flashcard, with all the clones being made these days... You may also want to check out DealExtreme. I bought my Acekard 2i from there, and it was free shipping and only $15, instead of $30 like other sites. The only downside with DealExtreme is that they are located in Hong Kong, so things usually take a couple weeks to get here. But if you are looking for the cheap route, look into that!

I had looked at DealExtreme but the time wait had put me off.

I'm divorced and have my two children once every two weeks. So you can understand that time was more important than cost this time round.

Gave the girls the cards on Saturday morning and even converted a DVD into a DPG (using Super) for them. They think I'm the best dad in the world now :)

Next time when time isn't an issue I may well use DealExtreme and buy myself a few gadgets as they seem to have one or two that I like :)

Yeah I can understand how that is! I personally don't have any kids, but I've got nephews and nieces who think I'm the coolest Uncle around, cause I got them an R4.
