I was given a dvd tutorial that was about 31 .iso files. So the labeling of the files i "..tutorial.iso.001", "..tutorial.iso.002", "..tutorial.iso.003", etc. The very first file is labeled as a "Split Archive Segment" in the kind window.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to get this to be one .iso file? I have had similar multiple files that ended in .rar, with those you just us something like Unrar and it combines all of the files into one iso file, but I can't seem to find anything that works like that for these files?

I dont think you can combine multiple iso files. It only works for .rar and such.

EDIT:

I thought you said you "labeled" them unto iso.001. Thats why i said it isnt possible to combine a lot of iso files. xD anyway, dailun is perfectly right. (: you could also use iZarc.

I would think that there has to be some way, why else would some one create such a file? I know that the tutorial takes up a whole dvd, so they chose to compress it this way. I have seen plenty of .rar files like this but never .iso.

You don't have multiple .iso files. You have segments of a single .iso file.

.iso files are split because of upload constraints and the convenience of not having an aborted upload/download lose the whole file. Whether or not the segments are .rar or .001 depends on the creator's preference and software used to create the segments.

In order to join files with an extension .001, .001 etc. into a single file you need to OPEN the .001 file using Winrar and then you should be able to join the segments.

winrar probably won't work. A split file isn't the same as a spanned archive. You need to use HJsplit.
