DVD won't play. Bad Sectors. Program to rip/repair ??

I have an old DVD that stops playing in my DVD Player due to some bad sectors.

When I use freeware "image burn" to make an image of the DVD it stops
ripping when it hits these bad sectors. It retries the read 20 times then fails completely.
(I also have AnyDVD running in the background)

Is there a ripping program that will bypass bad sectors and allow the movie
to be copied? I don't mind a blip in the video here and there if it let's me
save this old movie by copying it to a DVD-R with a few "blips" in it..

Have you tried DVD Decrypter and set it to ignore read errors?

I can download and try DVD Decrypter.
Is it easy to use? Will it repair the
bad sectors somehow even if it blips the picture?

Just copying bad sectors may leave me with an
identical copy that still doesn't play in the
DVD Player??? Yes/No??

It will play but you will have those blips.

If you use a scratch repair kit, you may get a good copy from that disc.
