Panasonic DMREZ37V twice sent to factory service!

I bought a "Clearance"DVD standalone DMREZ37V ,in March 2008@Walmart.Brought it home and sent it to Pana. Factory service right away(Not Working)!Walmart didn't carry anymore.All they had was Magnavox,and Sony.So I couldn't get EXACT replacement,right away.After my second problem scenario,Panasonic kept saying,althoughI think they were sincere?),that it was the brands of DVDs,try others.Did that and they said "How where ,are you storing your blanks"?After they replaced the DVD drive,it works like new,old rejects,and even finalized a "Burned disc from a different brand DVDr!My point is obviously they have to expend ALL options before you send it in!I can use the cheapest sale brands:No Problems.Even like I said Finalize from another DVDR! FYI
