I didn't see a specific thread about focalprice so I figured I'd start one with my experience with them just to give people an idea of what they're like.

It was noted in another thread (or several) that DX sucks and FP is a lot better. Well first off, I think DX is great. The prices are great and I've never had any problems with them... yes, the shipping is SLOW, it's to be expected. If you get registered airmail with DX the shipping is lightning fast... my last package arrived in 7 days from the order date!

That being said, I gave FP a try thinking yes, they're more expensive, but maybe they're better/faster like someone had said. My only thought is NOPE. They didn't respond to either of my messages to them. I ordered over $20 so I got registered airmail for free, but it shipped 2 days later and took 24 days to arrive!!! Wow, that is SLOW!

Bottom line, I paid more money, and waited longer for the exact same products. I ordered a DSTT cart and memory card, they're the exact same things I get from DX, both seem genuine, both work just fine, but it really bothers me that I paid more, got registered airmail, and it took LONGER than DX.

Anyway, if you don't mind paying more for poor service and for the same products that take longer to get to you then fine... go for it. I'm sticking to DX... they've been nothing but good to me and if you get registered shipping it's very fast! FP offering free registered shipping on orders of $20 or more just seems like a scam to me... it's no faster!

i had a problem with DX and gave Focalprice a go, what a sham, after 2 weeks and the item not being dispatched i asked for a refund, they couldnt understand why! 2 weeks not dispatching a simple item, went back to DX and it arrived from HK to UK in 2 days....DX for me in future.

DX is hit and miss. I have waited up to 3 months for a order. And some have arrived in under 2 weeks. Everyone has there own opinion and experiances. To each his own.

i have good and bad experiences with both FP and DX, no one shop is 100% perfect. but overall i like DX more.

If you're in the US, I have to say that RHS (Red Hot Stuff) is still the best and "head and shoulders above the rest".

You may pay a little more, but you get prompt delivery and customer support second to none.

Over 20 flashcarts ordered, avg. delivery time 3 business days.

I didn't figure I was the only one having problems with FocalPrice... some idiot on here keeps pushing them so I figured I'd give them a try, mostly to prove him wrong, which I did... they suck. I really don't enjoy paying more money for the same thing and then on top of it all having to wait any extra week or more to receive the items that stated they were IN STOCK...

Oh, and I made a mistake in my original post... FP said the items shipped 2 days after my order (and they even sent me an email stating this), but in reality they didn't ship them until 10 days after my order! What a bunch of liars!!
