Hi im needing some help here im using dvdshrinks new version and it works fawlessly,but one thing i cant figure out how to stop it from putting closed captions at the bottom it where you have to read it,dont want it there ,what doit have to do in setting to change this.any help would be appreicated coolshack,

If you are referring to the subtitles, Shrink allows you to remove them in the "Compression Settings" screen.

While DVDSHRINK will include captions in the final output if you don't tell it otherwise unless I am wrong you can turn them off and on when you watch the movie on your DVD Player.

To delete all subpictures (subtitles) which are not required you simply uncheck each ticked box in the 'subpicture' list. It is always best to do this to save space and hence to reduce compression. Likewise do the same for any unwanted audio streams which you can also delete.

I agree...
I've had this problem - my DVD player had the sub-titles on as default (?!?)

But I remove them now to save on compression.

Check the copy on another player... to see if you get the same issue.
