I have just been given a Motorola V975 phone, I have installed the MPT software which came with it and am in the process of transferring mp3 files from my pc to the phone.

I have transferred three files and I am now trying to transfer a couple more mp3 files but keep getting the message 'Request denied by phone (Forbidden 0x43) - what does this mean ?

I actually got the same message when trying to transfer a particular mp3 file, I gave up after a while and yet when I tried again today that file went across ok - weird !
I have had a memory card installed in the phone and so I assume the mp3's are automatically being stored to it - correct?
I guess it must be happening as the mp3 files which have transferred would not have been able to be stored on the onboard memory which is only 2MB.

I would really appreciate help with this please, I am rather green with the process of transferring files from pc to phone !

Thanks
