Hi guys,

I know ntsc games cant be played on European consoles, and pal games cant be played on north American console....coz the some of the games are region coded. My question is how does the game know which console it is in? Has it got anything to do with the type of dvd drive? What if I take a console from N.America and change the dvd drive in europe, will i be able to play pal games then?
