Ok, so I have recorded a 74minute music mix onto my PC from my turntables. I have saved it as .mp3 file
Now, the problem is that its a CD with 12 tracks on it all mixed together, but, when I put it into my CD player it shows "1 track 74mins long" ..... So my question is this, how do I create relative skip points on the CD/.mp3 file so that I can skip between tracks????

You need a .cue file. AFAIK there are easy to use cue editors out there, but here's how I'd do it: Open windows notepad and copy'n'paste this to it:
Quote:
PERFORMER "Unknown Artist"
TITLE "Unknown Title"
FILE "File.mp3" WAVE
TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "Track01"
PERFORMER "Unknown Artist"
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "Track02"
PERFORMER "Unknown Artist"
INDEX 01 02:26:52
TRACK 03 AUDIO
TITLE "Track03"
PERFORMER "Unknown Artist"
INDEX 01 05:45:25
Now change the "..." information and the time stamps (minutes:seconds:1/100seconds) so it fits to your source file (most imporant: Change "File.mp3" to the name of your mp3.) and add as many entries as necessary like:
Quote:
TRACK 04 AUDIO
TITLE "Track04"
PERFORMER "Unknown Artist"
INDEX 01 07:41:20
You can delete the lines containing "PERFORMER" if necessary.

Now save to a file with the ending .cue in the same directory as your mp3 file.

The resulting .cue file can be used now similar to a playlist for playback with many audio players like foobar2000 (free). Most programs capable of burning auido CDs are able to use the .cue for burning the file to separate tracks but without introducing gaps, e.g. Burrrn (free).

You can also split the .mp3 to separate tracks using mp3directcut (either using the .cue or manually) but the resulting files will play back with small gaps (clicks) between them.
