As I wait for the rest of my parts for my gaming comp to come in..I've sorta wondered; If I were to just try my hand at playing PS2 games via said gaming PC..and burn a few games onto discs beforehand so they'll be ready...would what media you use matter as much?

Like...would I have to go grab some Verbatims, or could I just get by with some of the Sony DVD+Rs I have laying around the house?

I don't think it would matter as much, but actually it is better just too use ISO images on your computer to run in the PCXS2 emulator.

You can read more about it in the guide - link

Thanks for the link bro, 'preciate it.

Yeah..at first I thought I'd be able to just leave the ISOs on the extra HDD I have as a secondary drive and just connect it to the new comp in order to save the hassle of burning, then ripping it onto the new comp. but it's an IDE..and the motherboard I got utilizes only SATA. Maybe I'll have to go that route after all..no biggie I guess.

I have computer like that also. I just use a SATA to PATA convertor so I can still use those IDE hdd's.
They aren't too expensive on eBay.
