Hey, im not so great with PC hardware so i kinda need some help :(

Basically, i want to run Call of Duty 4 on my PC..here are some basic specs..

Vista home premium
Pentium Dual-core CPU E5200 @ 2.50 GHz
2GB RAM

If you need any more, just say..

Anyway, according to a couple of people and canyourunit.com, i need a better graphics card in order to run it. Now, i want a graphics card that can play COD4 fairly smoothly, nothing spectacular, but i want one for around £70 max.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-010-ZT

How would this fair? Im going to buy it from Maplins as i cant be bothered orderin off the website so it will be £70 there, but im just wondering how it would run, and would there be any compatibility issues?

ANY HELP IS GREATLY, AND I MEAN GREATLY, APPRECIATED :D

£70 versus £44... Your call...
That card will work in your PC as long as it isn't a slimline tower.

Well, depends what your PC is. I'd say it's highly unlikely it will work with your PC if it's a standard Dell/HP off the shelf system.

I would be downright shocked if that card works without a new power supply.

ROFL you really will struggle with that in a standard PC even before you get to power supply issues as it may not even fit. The 4850 is about length of an ATX motherboard then needs a 6-pin PCI-e power cable in the end meaning drives cannot be in the way, and sometimes they cannot be moved. You would need to move them lower in the case making them further from the power supply and the cables are exactly the right length so they (possibly) won't reach.

I could put something funny here but I cant be arsed. Now GO AWAY!

I think it's unlikely too but if that PC uses a standard tower with a reasonably well made 250W PSU it should work initially, though obviously I wouldn't recommend doing so for long periods of time.
