I have found that if you go into network places then view network connections then right click on your active network device wifi card or LAN then drop down to properties and ensure that fil and printer sharing box is checked solves 98% of all my connection problems. It took me months to figure this out and i have not had a problem since. Windows sometimes turns it off and on probably for security etc.
