computer crashes when msn live starts

i have windows xp sp3
windows live msn 8 installed

when i signin it going in... loads and everything..
even the information thing that pops up for msn... comes up
however whenever i click on a contact to talk to.. or someone
tries to talk to me.. my computer crashes...
by crash i mean.. this blue screen comes up.. and it says dumping info or something like that.. to quick to c .. what it says.. and then the computer restarts..

heres what i have tried so far..
cleared the DNS..
deleted the contacts ..
reinstalled msn live.. it works fine for a while but then crashes again
also.. i read somewhere that the problem is with the internet explorer... so i installed internet explorer 8,.. it worked find for a while .. but then the same thing happens.. COMPUTER CRASHES>..
i dont know what else to do...

these r my comp specs:
win xp sp3
windows media edition version 2002
Intel p4
internet explorer 7
firefox 3.1
