Hotmail with outlook problem

Hi,
I have Office 2007 and every time I try to set up my Hotmail account to it I have to install outlook connector and when I do I get an error and it doesn't work. The error I get is "This set of folders can not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists." I have no idea what to do at this point any advice would be appreciated.
