Hi guys and gals.

I have DVD that my family memeber gave to me with his film on it. He paid 5000 pound to be put together. I can watch it it any DVD player, ps3 ect but when i insert it into any computer it doesnt show any files or run.
dvd shrink cannot see disc, any dvd cannot see disc. My fam member belives it may be protected by something. any pointers on what direction to go in to solve this?

thanks

Can you see the files using Windows Explorer?

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Try DVD43... it works on every dvd i've used...http://www.dvd43.com/

EDIT: It decrypts the dvd and then you can rip it using dvd-shrink or whatever program you usually use

Not certain what the author of the disc did to it, but all commercial DVDs file structures are able to be read in windows explorer.

well i got it sorted! after DVD dycryter telling me it had no protection i got hold of a laptop and that was able to read the files. Then i could then drag and drop as normal and carry on with my conversion! i did try it in 3 other computers but it just wouldnt read the disc! i did learn a lot though and now have a quite a few dvd/video pplications on my computer now!

thanks for the replies everyone
