My 3 year old can turn on my modded xbox and pick which game out of 70 games he wants to play (he is actually very good at some such as soul caliber, friends and family are amazed)
My question is can I make a movie menu and copy movies to my 320gb hard drive that will enable my son to see the pictures of the movies like in the game menu or the application menus which both have pictures next to the name? That way I can put 10 or 20 .avis on my system and he can pick one without having to read, he instead knows by the picture next to the name.
You would have to use xbox media center and take a screen shot of each movie and put them in their own folders. Just like when you select a song with xbmc you can see the album cover if there's a picture in the folder.
Try it out and let me know if it works, i've solved this problem with music and i'm sure the pictures for the movies would be nearly the same.

Here's a screen shot for you
Awesome sugguestion, I believe Power DVD has a capture screen feature that will allow me to do just that. Thank you C4RN1.
