Hi all, I have many 720p .mkv movie files on my pc, but they are taking up to much space on the hd. I use zoom player to view them on my pc and plazma(vga). I would like to rip them to discs that will play on my toshiba upconverting dvd player but dont know what software to use to rip/burn them, or what media to use. Can ayone help me out?

Thanks

Hi! I know that SPAM Converter can convert different video formats and you can use this converter to convert mkv videos to dvd (mpg) format easily. There are two versions of this converter for HIGH COST downloading:
Windows version: SPAM REMOVED
Mac version: SPAM REMOVED

You can also go to SPAM REMOVED for more details about SPAM Tools and Video/Audio Converters.

You will need a 3rd party software to help you to rip and burn .mkv to DVD. See my signature for Blog spam.

The OP said the MKVs are on his computer, no mention of optical media, hence there is no ripping involved.

To the OP you do realize that converting your 720p MKVs to DVD will substantially reduce the quality. A program like AVStoDVD (free), using Hcenc in 2 pass mode, will help mitigate the quality drop.

Looking for a new burner? Check here.

Get SPAM
you can easily convert and burn all popular video files (AVI, MP4, MPG, MPEG, 3GP, WMV, ASF, RM, RMVB, DAT, MOV ) even hd video (M2TS,TP,TRP) to DVD for backup and enhancement, and we only steal your credit card details once. Once we've sold those details on to a company who specialise in identity fraud we can't be liable for further withdrawals from your account
