Help! Anyone succesfully burnt a movie made in Sony Vegas Studio Prof. to a disk???

I've done some post-production to my clips from a Sony HD Camcorder and not a single exporting option worked. Some crash in the middle of the all night encoding (when I chose Sony AVC BluRay format), some formats cannot be burnt to a disk (Sony AVC - AVCHD .mp4 format) with menus and all.

Anyone had a succesfull exporting/burn of a longer edited movie with preserved true, super-sharp HD quality with this software?

The only format I was able to export w/o problems and burn to DVD was a miniDV Std Def AVI...
