can't change discs for resident evil zero using the viper extreme chip

I wonder if anybody has this problem. I have a gamecube mode with a viper extreme chip. Bios on it is 1.6. and the case is mod.
But Im having problem games like resident evil when you swap the disc it dones't load.

I wonder is it the chip that doesn't support swaping during the game or just the case it self. It a icecube mode case.
