I have been trying to backup some important memories. Where I could, I bought copies, and also have been trying to put them on a portable hard drive. One in particular is giving me fits. The guy who made it can't be tracked down.
When I check out the disc in windows, it takes forever for Windows to open the folders. It has "audio ts" (nothing in there), video ts (like 99 ifo, bup, etc) and jacket_p
Thie part that is annoying is that windows shows the video ts folder at 184GB... which obviously is not true.... has anyone dealt with this before? I have tried several programs...FAB, dVDDecrypt, Shrink, as well as just copying folder to hard drive (I have 160GB so that didnt work). I keep getting read orror messages in Fab....
The more I look at this, the more I think it is a trick where they have just put it pointing to the same file in multiple ways to confuse ripping programs....
There are 98 separate VTS files, each with a 1,2 or 3 behind them..my guess is that there are 2 or 4 real ones ...how can i find those a break them out?
