Say you have NSTC video files on the computer and you use Nerovision Express, must the PAL/NSTC setting when copying the files to the import folder be the same as the source files.
I have noticed that if I have it set to PAL, and the files are NSTC, I then receive a Kernel32.dll error, but if I set it to NSTC, which is the same as the source files then no error appears.
I take it Nerovision Express won't automatically convert NSTC files to PAL?
I am aware that DVD players can play both nowadays, but it's because I have some files downloaded from various sources and they are in NSTC format, would the reason I was getting an error because I had the setting as PAL, when the files I was adding were NSTC?
Normally you install Nero and set your video standard (PAL or NTSC).
If you set as NTSC, then each time you loaded a PAL source (and vice versa) it would pop-up and ask if you wanted to make a PAL movie - you have the option of telling it 'No' and optionally to stop popping these messages.
I think this error is occurring because Nero didn't install properly.
I would get the Nero Clean Tool from the Nero site, make a note of your serial numbers and uninstall/reinstall Nero.
