i have an autistic son who loves his ps2 but as much as i keep an eye on him he still seems to scratch all his discs!! as i have brought all his games new or second hand from a game shop is it legal for me to make copies of the games so i dont have to keep buying him the same ones over and over again, if it is legal how do i do it and what do i need?

Yes it is perfectly legal to make backups of discs you own, as for scratches no need to worry as the laser puts minor scratches on the discs anyway. But onto the next question - the easiest way to backup your discs is by using imgburn, which you can get totally free from HERE, all you have to do is rip your image and reburn it with the same program at 4x
Hope this helps

If it aint broke....mod it! ;)

You will however need some sort of mod to your PS2 to play those backups, whether it be a modchip, software mod, exploit etc.

The PS2 can't read backups otherwise.
