PC is a Vista SP2 (64 bt)
Nero v 7 ultimate
Sony DV Direct VRD MC3 DVD burner.

So, the question is - will I lose image quality with burning a DVD from a Camcorder using mini-DVD (after they have been finalized, a SD version, and from a internal Hard drive version? and thus stick with my miniDV- Tape camcorder?

I like my camcorder (Panasonic GS320) except for the delay time when starting & stopping a recording.

With a MiniDVD Camcorder do I even need to use Nero - or simply connect the camcorder to the Sony and burn a regular size DVD?
I believe the Sony has Firewire - as does my PC, so I could even burn to a DVD using my PC.
