I have an iphone 3g 16GB bought it unlocked jailbroken from China and now I can use any sim with it. It is version 2.2 5G77 and has cydia and yellowsn0w. I am currently in Ethiopia. I want to update my phone to the newest version i.e. 2.2.1 or 3.0 when released, and i'm afraid i might lock it. I was looking for some help on this issue. I want to update leaving the baseband as it is i.e. 2.28
