Howdy Yall!
I guess this would fall under Rule #4 (although I never really asked a question. I just figured I would share my experiances with my Pioneer 107 Upgraded to FirmWare 1.10.
It worked great for me, I did make a coaster, but I believe that it was the media. I have found that some of the "Cheap" DVDR's I already had for a differnt DVDR I had worked great. In fact, the 1X were burning @ 8X!!! I am a newbie myself, but I found out this info to be useful. I am sure someone else can explain it in more detail.
The two main reasons I am posting this is 1. The other thread hit over 100 comments ;) 2. I wanted to give back some feedback to those that are wondering about upgrading their FW. I copied this out of DVD Info Pro (I barely know how to use it). I guess could be real useful if you understood it..lol
P.S. I had the following results with these media types:
