mpeg karaoke to dvd

Please advice, I am trying to make karaoke dvd out of mpeg video karaoke which has two audio channel for each chapter. I used Nero to create the dvd and everything worked fine except that I could not use the audio button on the remote to turn off the vocal (or toggle between the two audio channel like traditional dvd karaoke). Thanks alot for your suggestion.
