I'm trying desperately to download a video that's embedded in a SWF file, but failing miserably. The video is not being cached so I cannot find it in my temp internet files. I've tried just about every bit of software out there, but simply failing.
I don't believe swf files are cached in the normal place that other internet files are.
If you need to download a swf file, try downloading and installing a Download Manager (I'd recommend the Internet Download Managerhttp://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/ Not free, but definitely one of the best!). IF you set the options within the download manager to automatically download swf files instead of letting them load in the browser, you can download the video.
Do not mess in my affairs; you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup. The greatest advantage you can have over someone is to know their name. Success is relative; the more success the more relatives. A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kickboxing.
I've tried your method, with no luck. The problem is, the page loads a SWF script with an embedded reference to an external movie file. This file is not cached onto my computer, nor can I derive the location of the file from the source code.
Downloading the SWF file isn't the problem... downloading the video it plays is!
