Hello everyone, i have had an account here, but i lost the login, so newly registered again.
PS2 ntsc/j fitted with a MOD chip. Thats my friends console, i dont have one, but im helping him out. His friend gave him a backup game Tekken 4 for the weekend.
But we cant play it.
So it has these mds and mdf files.
I open the 5kb mds file, it opens the 2.63GB mdf file, in UltraISO.
I then burn it to DVD.
Then, i also burn it in Alcohol 120%, carefully selecting the Play Station 2 option.
Now, as i dont have the ps2 slim, i dont know which one will work.
Both have been burned on DVD-R's at lowest possible speed.
My question is, take a look at the folder named TEKKEN.
in it, there is only 1 file, called DATA.BIN sized 2.63GB.
If i try to open the bin file to see inside it, it tells me error.
Maybe im not supposed to open BIN files.
I know that the 'cue' file dosent exist, and isint supposed to exist.
I have played backups of Burnout 3 Takedown, and they also contained many BIN files.
So my question is, am i burning it right?
Cause my friend's DVD writer dosent work, so i have to do the burning.
And i dont what it to be screwed up.

im not sure what modchip he has, but i will find out.
Your welcome. No matter about the modchip, as long as the game works fine.
I just thought maybe was an issue with it.
