I used the bios swap method to fix my ds lite a while ago. That part seemed to have worked, (although i haven't properly tested it yet, you will see why).
I accidentally broke 2 things. One of the shoulder buttons (and i mean the real button, on the motherboard), and I broke the on/off switch for the ds.
I was gonna repair them myself, however, i have no soldering experience (apart from a 3 month class i took in high school about 7 years ago).
I bought a new switch and new shoulder buttons, is there someone that i can send all the items to that will solder the parts on correctly for free?
I have seen guides on how to solder the on/off switch but none on how to solder the shoulder buttons.
If it is possible, can you recommend someone out there who will fix this for me? Or at least can you give me some guides that are easy to follow on how to solder the on/off switch and the shoulder buttons.
If you are gonna give me a guide, I will also need one on how to desolder the current on/off switch, as it is broken and I will need to know how to get it off properly.
If you don't have any experience in soldering and you don't have the proper tools, there is a high probability that you will destroy the board trying to take the power switch off
