Swap Magic 3.6 cd version - not valid ps2 disc

I bought a foreign ps1 game recently. I put in the swap magic 3.6 cd, but every time I choose to load it says,"not valid ps2 disc." How can I fix this or where can I find a new disc that is guarantee to work.

how many times is this going to be asked this week?.. you need a PS1 boot disk!!! the swapmagic cd is for the rare ps2 CD games!!!!

Sorry. I never that this was a repeated topic. My friend just told me that swap magic cd version was for ps1. thanks for the info.
