i'm not sure if i should be posting this here....in this forum or this site.....so please, forgive me if i'm wrong.

my scanner was working fine yesterday, and i needed to scan some pictures today, i'm an artist and i CG my work, but it says there is no scanner connected to my computer. i went to the control panel and checked, and sure enough, it says there is no scanner hooked up to my computer. i tried adding it with the canon scancraft disk, but i get this message saying that the file FB62Pcpl.cpl was not found, it is needed to comtinue.
i tried uninstalling the scancraft, and reinstalling it, that didn't help. i still get the same message.
does anyone know anything about this FB62Pcpl.cpl?
i searched for it on the canon disk AND my computer, but it's nowhere to be found. i even tried finding it on the internet, but all if found was other people's complaints about it as well, and they have gotten no answer as to how they can fix it.
help, please :(
