We have a terrific opportunity get a Mitsubishi WS-55313 55" TV at a great price. (We're in Hawaii and selection here is not always the best!) This is the "Silver Series" which is the bottom-of-the-line for Mits 55" RPTVs. It appears from the specs that it will do everything we need (HDTV & progressive scan) and it also appears from the specs of the "Gold" and higher series that the main difference is trick stuff we have no use for.

My question: Is it a bad idea to go with this unit or should we hold out for a "Gold" series of higher. And if so, why?

Whew!

Thanks to anyone for some educated input! Obviously, we're new at this.)
