i have burned a few dvds using nec dvd rw 8x. i have been using the packard bell blank dvd+rw, i have made stright copies of dvds and also used dvd shrink to reduce certian dvds to they can fit on dvd-5. the problem is that these dvd will work on my pc but not on any other pc or dvd player . on other pcs it does not even acknowledge that theres a dvd in the drive why is this ????? im using nero latest version, i have tried a number of dvd players and pcs

try using +r and not rw. Also, not every dvd player can play backup dvds.

also make sure your DVD files are inside a VIDEO_TS folder and that an empty AUDIO_TS folder is on the disc. Some players won't work without it.
