Using Nero to recode AVI files to DVD, and I end up with a sound track slowly and inexorably moving out of synch with the video track.

Doesn't happen with mpegs.

Any ideas why? and solution?

yes, you're using Nero...bad idea...great burning software...but not for encoding...i would use TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator or or TMPGE Plus or Canopus ProCoder Express or DVDxP4
