I keep hearing people say they blew their car amp. How does this happen? I want to know so I can be sure not to do it to mine. Thanks for any help!

There are a couple of ways to blow out amps, the most common being the wrong impedance (or load) on the amp - usually caused by the wrong speakers - and the old favourite of simply having speakers that are over rated for the amp, with the result that the amp is running at full whack all the time.

Also popular are overheating, and general misuse.
