Hello: http://www.hometheatermag.com/rearprojectiontvs/110/index8.html

This is the TV I have. I wanted to set up my PC so that it will display 720p or 1080i resolutions. From the link above, it seems as if my TV is HDTV. However reading this quote from the site:

"Granted, the tuner only brings in terrestrial (i.e., over-the-air) signals."

Can I have my PC output HD resolutions? (via WMV HD, which is 720p)

Here are further specs of the TV:

I couldn't get the inputs and outputs from the page you supplied.

But for the HD quality, you will need either a Dsub out connector or component output from your computer. If you have a 15pin (3 rows of 5pins) this is VGA Dsuboutput and you will need an adaptor to component for the tv. IF you have component out on your computer your good. Or if you Tv has DVI or Dsub input then its good. The Svideo out on computers is not HD quality.

thanks for replying to my post. i didn't think anyone would. heh. I was planning on getting an all in wonder. doensn't have component output jacks, but instead comes with a component adapter. I assume this is the same thing?

I would have to set my screen resolution to match the TV's, right? What would that be? Anything else I should be aware of?

much appreciated.

The adapter will be the same thing so no worries on Component. This would be the best way to connect, as you don`t loss too much in quality. For the All in wonder, it should actually corect the resolution for you. SO you also may not need to worry about that, but most HDTVs are only 1024x768, but yours might be 1600x1280 depding on size and if its widescreen or full screen. Although I am very sure the ATI will correct it for you.

Every thing else should just be plug and play. Good luck.
