aight i was just wondering if any one could help me out. i need to know how to configure dvd writer so the burning speed is 1:1 cos when i try backing up my game it fails and tells me this

What kind of burner is the Philps? Is it +/-R? Best solution I could come up with without any info is that you should try using DVD Decrypter and make sure the media your using and your writer is compatable at the speed you want to record at.
